Wuling Mini EV Launched in Nepal at Rs 19.99 Lakh; Price, Range and Features
Wuling has launched the Mini EV in Nepal during the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026, introducing a four-door, four-seat electric car in two variants. The Standard Range is priced at a special NAIMA price of Rs 19.99 lakh, down from Rs 20.99 lakh, while the Long Range variant costs Rs 21.99 lakh, compared to its regular price of Rs 22.99 lakh.
The latest-generation Mini EV gets improved practicality, increased cabin space, updated technology and enhanced safety, with two battery options offering up to 301 km of claimed CLTC range.
One of its key changes is the four-door, four-seat layout, making it the only four-door model in its segment and improving access to the rear seats.
Despite its compact size, the Mini EV measures 3,268 mm in length, 1,520 mm in width and 1,575 mm in height, with a 2,190 mm wheelbase. It offers 793 mm of front-to-rear seat spacing, 620 mm of rear headroom and 454 mm of rear legroom.
Practicality has also been improved, with 50:50 split-folding rear seats expanding luggage capacity to 838 litres. The vehicle also features a 755 mm loading height and 20 storage compartments throughout the cabin.
Inside, the MINIEV gets redesigned brown-and-white seats with thicker cushioning and improved ergonomic support. The front seats can recline up to 164 degrees, while the dashboard features a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment systemwith remote vehicle functions through a mobile application, including remote start, air-conditioning control and cabin pre-conditioning.
The infotainment system supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Huawei HiCar and CarLink, while four dedicated driving scenarios—Rest Mode, Camping Mode, Rain & Snow Mode and Pet Mode—add further functionality.
Power comes from an LFP battery paired with a 30 kW electric motor and rear-wheel-drive layout. The Standard Range version gets a 16.2 kWh battery and offers a claimed 205 km CLTC range, while the Long Range version uses a 25.1 kWh battery and delivers up to 301 km CLTC range. Both versions feature Economy, Standard and Sports driving modes with three levels of energy recovery.
The Standard Range version takes around 4.8 hours to charge from 20 to 100 percent using AC charging, while the Long Range version takes around 7.2 hours. Both can charge from 30 to 80 percent in around 35 minutes using DC fast charging.
The Mini EV uses MacPherson independent suspension at the front and a three-link setup at the rear, along with disc brakes, electronic parking brake and electric power steering. It rides on 155/70 R13 tyres and has a minimum turning radius of 4.5 metres.
The exterior follows Wuling’s “Sweet Sugar Cube” design theme, featuring round star-ring LED headlights and position lights, a high-mounted LED brake light and four-leaf-clover-style wheel covers.
Other features include a seven-inch colour instrument panel, smart key, intelligent power on/off, seamless entry and locking, automatic parking hold, multifunction steering wheel, electric air conditioning and front and rear power windows.
Safety equipment includes a reinforced high-strength steel body, dual front airbags, ESC, ABS with EBD, TCS, vehicle dynamics control, hill-start assist, hydraulic brake assist, tyre pressure monitoring, a reversing camera and rear parking sensors.
It also gets automatic door locking while driving, automatic unlocking after a collision, ISOFIX mounts, a driver seatbelt reminder, low-speed pedestrian warning and rear child safety locks.
With its four-door, four-seat layout, compact dimensions, up to 301 km of claimed range and improved technology, the latest Wuling MINIEV brings a more practical and feature-rich option to Nepal’s growing affordable electric car segment.
